The Community Compliance division consists of Code Enforcement, Community Service, and Neighborhood Compliance.

Code Enforcement (CEO):

The team’s primary responsibility is to address graffiti, and unsheltered individuals, including coordination with service providers, illegal dumping, green pools, property maintenance violations, business license compliance, zoning violations, and unpermitted vendors.

Community Service Officer (CSO):

The team’s primary responsibility is to work with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to respond to calls for service and take non-workable crime reports. This allows sworn personnel to increase their response times and community engagement opportunities.

Neighborhood Compliance Officer (NCO):

The team’s primary responsibility is to address vehicle-related violations and assist with quality-of-life issues. They enforce the Palmdale Municipal Code and California Vehicle Code; by issuing citations, towing unlawfully operated vehicles parked on public roads, and recovering stolen vehicles.
