  • Current or former Palmdale resident; or
  • Immediate family member of a current or former Palmdale resident (spouse, child, grandchild).

Nomination deadlines:

  • Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 5 p.m. for display from Memorial Day through Independence Day
  • Friday, August 1, 2024, at 5 p.m., for display from Veteran’s Day through New Year’s Day

Hometown Heroes banners will be installed twice each year:

  • Memorial Day through Independence Day — banners will be displayed along Avenue S.
  • Veterans Day through New Year’s Day — banners will be displayed at the Rancho Vista Blvd. / 10th St. West intersection.
