Adopt-a-Plane

Joe Davies Heritage Airpark at Palmdale Plant 42 logoPalmdale’s Adopt-a-Plane program allows interested groups to "adopt" one of the aircraft displayed at Joe Davies Heritage Airpark. Groups who adopt a plane commit to cleaning the aircraft display on an as-needed basis, typically once per month. Groups consist of six to 10 people for most planes. Cleaning is done from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on select Saturdays. All cleaning tools and materials are supplied by the City.

Adoptions are available on a first-come, first served basis. As part of the program, all adopting groups receive:

  • Group name on the City's website
  • Group name on a sign next to the adopted aircraft
  • Invitation to special events at the airpark
  • Press release announcing the first scheduled cleaning
  • Recognition at annual awards ceremony

Planes available for adoption are subject to change; please call to confirm availability.
