Looking to get involved with your community? Not sure where to start? Our community offers an abundance of opportunities for individuals and families to volunteer their time. Volunteers are a critical part of many agencies’ ability to offer a wide variety of programs, and to continue to assist families in need. The City recruits volunteers for positions in the City year-round for posted openings or by program referral. Volunteers must complete the application and a background check.

Palmdale Ambassadors are volunteers who engage residents in community outreach throughout the City of Palmdale. You must have completed the Palmdale Partners Academy to apply to become a Palmdale Ambassador. If you qualify and would like to apply, please click HERE.
Join the City of Palmdale as we beautify our City and remove graffiti from our streets. Together we can make our City a beautiful place to call home. This activity is for anyone 18+ years old. This activity is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. You must have your mode of transportation for this event. You will follow the City staff to the worksite in your vehicle. APPLY NOW

All of our youth sports programs are coached by volunteers and we offer various resources including a thorough Coaching Guide, weekly practice plans and game tips, and staff assistance. Volunteering is a 2 to 3-hour commitment each week, with coaches being able to select their practice times. Games are played during the week and on Saturdays. APPLY NOW
