Palmdale Transportation Center (PTC)
The Palmdale Transportation Center is a state-of-the-art regional multimodal hub offering connections between Antelope Valley Transit Authority local and commuter bus service, Metrolink commuter rail service, Santa Clarita Transit, Greyhound bus service and Amtrak Throughway bus service.
The Clock Tower Plaza at the PTC features an indoor passenger waiting area complete with concession machines, public telephones, comfortable seating, restrooms and security service. Metrolink passengers may also use partially enclosed, heated, outdoor waiting accommodations on the rail platform. Bus patrons will find eight centrally located bus stops providing convenient connections between regional service providers and local bus routes.

Ground Transportation
The Antelope Valley Freeway (State Route 14) provides a convenient route south to Greater Los Angeles or north to High Sierra vacation lands. Adventurous motorists find the Angeles Forest and Angeles Crest Highways a scenic route to the Pasadena area.
Highways 138 and 58 run east/west through the Antelope Valley. Interstate Freeways 5 (to Los Angeles and Sacramento) and 15 (to San Diego and Las Vegas) are easily accessed from these highways.
Bus
Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA) local bus service takes children to school, employees to work and residents to local stores and malls. Patrons can save by purchasing a monthly pass. AVTA also provides Dial-a-Ride services, a curb-to-curb van service for seniors and disabled persons.

Commuter Bus
AVTA provides commuter bus service to Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. All commuter buses are equipped with plush, high-back reclining seats, restrooms and individually controlled lighting and air conditioning vents.
Santa Clarita Transit provides commuter bus services to the City of Santa Clarita.

Commuter Rail
