The City strives to be a leader in the use of zero and low emission vehicles and equipment. City policy supports the deployment of Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEVs), which are essential to achieve City, County and State renewable energy, air quality and climate change goals.

Here are some ways we are achieving a greener footprint, and information on how you can join us and where you can fill up!

Electric Vehicles

The City owns electric vehicle charging stations located throughout Palmdale. The City offers a combination of both Level 2 and DC Fast Chargers. Sites and fees for use vary. DC Fast Chargers are located at both Development Services Building and the Avenue S Park and Ride. These units can fully charge an electric vehicle in less than 30 minutes.
