We have many opportunities to build and improve our future, but we cannot do this without your input! The City of Palmdale is announcing the upcoming development of our community’s first Park and Recreation Master Plan. This plan will serve as a blueprint for developing goals, policies, and guidelines. Additionally, prioritized strategies will be identified that will incorporate an understanding of our community needs and set an action plan that will help our community reach its goals.
All community feedback will help to develop a long-range vision for the department and will impact future funding, staffing, and capital improvements. Public participation is critical to ensuring that the city’s service meets the needs of all residents today while promoting a healthy, sustainable, and equitable park system for the future.
