1. How do I apply for a City job?

A complete list of our job openings can be found at Government Jobs - Palmdale. An online application is required. Click on the position you are interested in, then just click on the button.

2. Can I apply in person instead of online?

The City no longer accepts hard copy job applications and does not keep resumes on file. An online application is required at Government Jobs - Palmdale. 

3. Will I get an email after applying for a job even if I wasn’t selected to advance to the next step?

Yes, every job applicant will receive an email about the status of their application.

4. Do you offer job assistance and help with interview skills and resume writing?

The Palmdale Works Youth Job Academy is offered several times each the year for ages 15-18, and provides free training on the job application process, mock interviews, and overall customer service skills. For more information please visit Palmdale Engaged.
